Due to self isolation Central Somerset Physiotherapy recognise our clients still require support, guidance and reassurance. FaceTime, Skype, Zoom or PhysiTrack consultations are available online to assess movement patterns, check correct execution of home exercises and advise on progression of self management techniques or prepare onward referral letters.

Do I need a GP referral to have physiotherapy?

A GP referral is not required unless you are having treatment through an insurance company which may state a referral is required.

How quickly will I be seen?

Central Somerset Physiotherapy aim to offer an appointment within 48 to 72 hours. We offer appointments from 7am-10pm Mon-Fri. Please be aware our evenings fill up quickly and if you would like to see a specific therapist you may have a wait longer than 72 hours depending on their availability.

How long will the treatments take?

Physiotherapy appointments vary in length. (please see appointments and cost page)

Does my insurer cover my physiotherapy treatment?

All insurers are different. It’s best to check with your insurance company or Central Somerset Physiotherapy if you are unsure. Central Somerset Physiotherapy is registered with all major health providers but please check if you have an excess or a limit on the amount of physiotherapy treatment you can receive.
